Accessibility statement

Last reviewed September 25, 2026

Our goal

Everyone should be able to see and manage their own finances in Viridian. We aim for the website and the iPhone app to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA.

Using Viridian with assistive technology

Viridian is built to work with the tools already on your device rather than a separate add-on. That includes screen readers such as VoiceOver on iPhone and Mac, and Narrator, NVDA or JAWS on Windows, as well as browser zoom and text resizing, and keyboard-only navigation.

  • Buttons, fields and menus have names that screen readers announce.
  • A "Skip to main content" link appears at the top of each page when you press Tab.
  • The net worth chart is described in words for screen readers.
  • Animations stop when your device is set to reduce motion.
  • Text meets minimum contrast against its background.

How we check

We test pages against WCAG 2.2 AA with automated tools (axe-core) as we make changes, and fix what they find. Automated tools catch many issues but not all, which is why we want to hear from you.

Known limitations

  • On the home page, the product preview cards that are not in focus are dimmed and have low contrast. They are illustrations; everything they show is also described in the text around them.
  • Some charts other than net worth are not yet described in words. The same figures are available as text in Transactions and Reports, and as a CSV export.

Get help or report a problem

If anything in Viridian is hard to use with your assistive technology, email [email protected] with "Accessibility" in the subject. Tell us the page and what happened, and we will help you complete the task another way while we fix it. We aim to reply within two business days, and can provide information in another format on request.
